July 27, 2012 by GoWP Support

Summer is ending soon but there is still time to enjoy some Savannah Summer events before school starts. We at Weichert, REALTORS® – The Sumer Group have put together five fun things to do this August in Savannah that appeal to kids of all ages!

1. Stranger in Paradise – The Works of Reverend Howard Finster (6/29/12-8/19/12)

The Telfair Museum presents Stranger in Paradise; an exhibit explores the themes and visions of Reverend Howard Finster, one of America’s most prolific and widely known self-taught artists. Finster produced over 46,000 pieces of artwork before he died in 2001. He called himself a “Man of Visions” and recorded his visions of a celestial outer space revealed to him by God. The exhibit is on display at the Jepson Center and runs from June 29th through August 19th. For more information about the exhibit and admission fees call 912.790.8800 or visit http://www.telfair.org.
